A run of big draft hits in previous years, two trades for All-Pros and perhaps the greatest get out of jail free card in draft history. The San Francisco 49ers finally climbed back up the playoff mountain to return to the Super Bowl only to find a familiar foe waiting for them. When the Niners get a second shot at a Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs it will be a rare title game rematch in this short of a span. Here's a look at the other times there was a Super Bowl rematch within five seasons of the first meeting. So Kittle showed no surprise about the fact that the four teams playing on championship weekend all rely heavily on the tight end in the passing game. "Tight ends give you the ability to mismatch whether it's on linebackers or safeties. “I’ve got a lot of respect for the way he plays the game, man,” said Lions coach Dan Campbell, a former NFL tight end. Kyle Juszczyk remembers the different feel when he took the field for the first time in the playoff rivalry between his San Francisco 49ers and the Green Bay Packers. That rivalry of San Francisco and Green Bay is always a big one. Favre followed with two quick touchdown passes as Green Bay rolled to a 27-17 win. Green Bay won the first playoff matchup 23-10 against Mariucci the following year as the frustration mounted in San Francisco.
